On this blog, overall wellness, health and happiness are important. And taking care of your body should be part of your mission from time to time. So here are some tried and tested workouts that I have found to be relaxing, gentle, motivating ,strengthening, or short enought for the days where you want to fit something in.

  1. Short Pilates and Yoga workouts:

Want something Gentle, A Little Energizing and No Equipment Needed? This is the one for you. All you need is a mat or a towel and you lie down, stretch and get some gentle movement in! This is good for relaxation, for getting those muscles moving if you don’t want to stay stiff and for getting your spirits up.. Move with Nicole offers a lot of similar exercises and she also offers playlists that have 5 minute, 10 -15 minute, 20-30 minute and, 45 min plus workouts. If 15 minutes is too much, try a 5 min arm workout! If 5 minutes is all you have, then make those minutes count girl and feel good about yourself afterwards!

A 15 minute Morning Yoga Flow

If you want a core strengthening, lengthening, and graceful workout to try on the mat-This is the one for you. Pilates is a no huffing and puffing exercise. And on lazy days, the last thing you wanna do sometimes is huff and puff. Here, you lay out your mat, lay down and strengthen your muscles with movements meant to get the whole body moving. Another one from Move With Nicole, she is pleasant to watch and listen to, encouraging and provides very good cues for the movements. Sometimes you don’t even break a sweat. I feel good doing her workouts regularly, even if it’s a 15 minute workout. My abs, arms and booty feel strong and it offers me some time to be mindful about my breath! Breath through your workout with this goody from Move with Nicole.
